Goodbye My Friend

I was browsing through on Youtube and I came to this music video from Spice Girls titled Goodbye. This song was originally written as a tribute to the people who died in the Dunblane School Massacre, the song was re-written and all contributions from Geri Halliwell removed after her departure from the Spice Girls.  What made me cry half way while listening to the music was when I read a comment on the music video. One has posted this...

The comment hit me right on the spot. It's exactly what I felt! Additionally, Im hurting because we both use to like Spice Girls before and it all the more brought memories from the past and the feelings of what we are now. I guess I can only agree that our lives are like chapters of a book... We can no longer go back to experience what we had in the past because its like re-reading a book that you know that in the end will have a unhappy ending.
